No way to export photos--thus worthless
I just dont get the point of a journal with photos--when you cant export the entries WITH photos. So, you take a bunch of great shots--but when you export (via email or Google Docs), you only get the text, losing one half of your memories, and your photos in context. You cant even export the photos as unembedded attachments (the way you can in Momento, which isnt great, but is still better than nothing).
This seems so basic to me--and yet its THE missing function in nearly all diary/travel/journal apps for iPhone.
Yes, you can backup, but then youre stuck with Chronicle forevermore. Digital decay is a HUGE issue--theres no guarantee that 10 years from now this program or developer will even exist (no matter how great now). Especially for a DIARY, which one is presumably keeping for posteritys sake--why would I spend all this time attaching photos to particular entries, only to lose that connection, and all that work, becuz I have no way to preserve in a form that is guaranteed to be around for a while (such as .pdf, google docs or the like).
Otherwise, I love this app--it has a beautiful interface--but its useless IMHO without the above.
