Unclear usefulness

I downloaded this after the reviews seemed to suggest it was a simple but functional little journal app, that I could use as a travel log (just-in-time entries that I can get onto my iPad or Mac). You can add a photo to an entry - but you cant see the photos youve picked?! And when you export the file to email, it doesnt include the pictures? What good is it? The only advantage over composing an email in the first place is it inserts the date (but I can do that myself)... And I can paste photos in email... Am I missing something??
